Fibre
Includes the fleece from the Alpaca and Llama. These fibres are not the same as wool due to their different make–up and are classed as Hair. They are a hollow type fibre, with a cellular composition which is the reason for their exceptional warmth, tensile strength and durability.
The Goat hair is also used in the making of Natural Floorcoverings, and it is the hair from the more mature animals that is processed in the production of the corded style of carpet.

Seagrass is a strong hard-wearing floor covering, grown in paddie fields that are flooded with sea water, harvested dried and woven into a great variety of products, including carpet. Due to the impermeable nature of its yarn, seagrass is very difficult to dye, thus comes in its natural shades.
